I'm Matthew Cavanagh, founder of California Artworks and a California-based mural artist specializing in large-scale public art. Since 2009, I've partnered with cities, schools, businesses, and community organizations throughout California to create custom murals that celebrate the identity, culture, and character of the places they call home.

Every project begins with collaboration. I take the time to understand each client's vision, the story they want to tell, and the people the artwork is meant to serve. From there, I develop an original design that transforms ordinary walls into vibrant, lasting landmarks.

As a licensed, insured, and bonded California contractor, I manage every stage of the process—from concept and design through installation—using professional-grade materials and proven techniques to ensure each mural remains beautiful for years to come.
